Canada Express Entry

Express Entry is a digital system that manages the applications of skilled professionals who want to become permanent residents of Canada. In 2015, Canada launched Express Entry to speed the processing of skilled worker applicants and provide a positive opportunity for immigration seekers.

After an interested applicant provides an online profile, the federal government assesses if the candidate is eligible for an Express Entry program. Candidates that are eligible are allowed into the Express Entry pool and are rated using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). The CRS is a point-based system used by the government to evaluate and rank Express Entry candidates. The CRS score is determined by a candidate's age, education, job experience, language abilities, and other variables.

Express Entry is a two-stage process that is relatively straightforward. Candidates who are qualified for Communicate Entry express their interest in acquiring Canadian permanent resident status to the Canadian government in the first major stage. The Canadian government invites the top individuals to come to Canada in the second major step.

Canada Express Entry Processing Time

Express Entry applications will be handled within six months once more. The Canadian government's immigration agency has stated that the majority of new Express Entry applications would be handled within six months. Prior to the epidemic, the Canadian government hoped to complete the majority of Express Entry immigration applications within six months. Although the Canadian government has taken initiatives to improve internal processing times, there has been no particular declaration for this year regarding procedure and guidelines. As it is, expedited entrance is the quickest of all, and it may remain that way in the future.
