West Ham Football club has been in the news a lot recently, mostly because of the takeover that has just happened. Simon Austin says he thinks it could be the least exciting takeover in the history of the premier league. I would agree with him, however there has been split opinion on whether the clubs has any money to spend in the transfer window. The clubs new owner says that Gianfranco Zola will be given money to spend but when the new company CB Holding are in dire financial problems you can understand when there is speculation.However Andrew Bernhardt, the new non-executive Chairman has promised to give Zolaa transfer budget to work with. If Dean Ashton can stay fit then even without any of the po sible signings the strikeforce will be strong but without Lucas Neill the defensive line has a huge hole in it which needs to be replaced. Hopefully a few of these deals will happen and if they do then I will be extremely confident for the upcoming season!
